Tupac’s Mother: Delighted with Coachella Hologram Performance

It was one of the coolest moments in live performance history when Tupac Shakur was brought back to life via hologram to perform at the 2012 Coachella Music Festival over the weekend.

And the late rapper’s mother Afeni Shakur was reportedly “thrilled with Tupac’s virtual performance.”

The life-like image of Tupac joined Snoop Dogg on stage for “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted,” and also performed “Hail Mary.”

According to a report, Dr. Dre had contacted Afeni Shakur to get permission to use her late son’s holographic image, and even made a donation to the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation.
