Discovered in a coffee shop by a Paramount Pictures agent, Mary Murphy of 'Wild One' fame died of heart disease on May 4 in her Beverly Hills home, according to TMZ.
Before her caffeine discovery, Murphy had been working as a package wrapper at Beverly Hills' Saks Fifth Avenue. She was immediately thrust onto the silver screen, appearing opposite Marlon Brando in 'The Wild One' before sharing she spotlight with Tony Curtis in 'Beachhead.'
Murphy, who died at 80, appeared in a bevy of 1950's films like 'The Desperate Hours,' 'A Man Alone,' and 'The Mad Magician.'
